to this review here We just signed up for an account with 2MHost less than a month ago. The list of site features seemed more than adequate at first glance. We had even gone as far as discussing the account with them before purchasing, and were given a verbal agreement that we could get a refund if it didn't meet our needs.
Well, it didn't meet our needs. The accounts don't include shell access. It can make coding and debugging rather painful having to work through cPanel and similar tools. At the time we signed up, the only indication of no shell access was in their Terms of Service.
We should have paid more attention to the terms before paying for a year of service. Now that we realized the plan is not suitable to our needs, they only refer us to the terms and refuse any refund at all.
Be careful if you do business with these guys. After researching other reviews, it appears they have poor service and even worse customer service. I would not pay for anything more than month by month with them, not until you are positive they will meet your needs.
