to this review here I have been with 1and1 for a while now, and have recommended them to a lot of people/businesses. Up until a couple months ago, they were absolutely wonderful. No problems ever.
I'm not sure what happened, as you cannot easily get information from them, but now my website is down far too often as well as my companies website (which we rely on completely. When that site is down, I cannot do my job. every minute counts).
I've been trying my best to give them the benifit of the doubt since I have had such wonderful experiences with them in the past, but I am developing a bad taste in my mouth and no longer recommend them.
If you are considering 1and1 because of the price, just remember that old cliche, "you get what you pay for" apparently. Too bad.
