Basically the 1 dollar hosting? You get what you pay for. Cheap quality. NO customer service or website support.
This company and Phil are incompetent and unprofessional. They have no infrastructure for notifying you when your website hosting is about to expire. Unlike other hosting companies that not only send you an advance renewal notice and have the option for automatic renewal services. Phil at webcountry seems like a guy running his business out of his living room. It seemed to me after 3 years that he is making his business float on late fees and expired domains. So the deal is - your website gets shut down (read: held ransom) until you call this guy on the phone and pay the exorbitant late fees. Believe me, that 1 dollar quickly turns out to not be such a great bargain, when you take into account how much of your time and money you will spend trying to get this guy to do his job.
I switched to ReadyHosting and after having a full service hosting company that is professional and proactive, I realize that companies like 1dollarhosting take advantage of naive suckers - they should be put out of business for running a scam.
