to this review here 100 megs has fair uptime and value. They are lagging behind on options they offer such as up to date shopping cart and e-commerce. I normally have 3-4 major issues a year that I need their help with, I have around 20 sites hosted with them. Depending who you get for support they may work with you or try and brush you off. There are two employees that are no help what so ever and one who puts out a huge effort. They do not offer any type of fault tolerance such as a backup server which is my issue today, down for 2 hours and counting... Also, they do not make an effort to contact you with scheduled downtime, so if you don't read their message boards every day and your sites go down you are left wondering what has happened or if anyone is even watching. I would give them a 50% rating, meaing, they are fine if you have a site that needs cheap hosting but you are not willing to pay for premium hosting features and service.

100Megs is a premium provider that provides any/all if not more services than the "mega" hosts. Our support is on-site (which many hosts also do not have) meaning no matter what the issue our "own" staff can deal with it ASAP.

I'm replying to the note from Jeremy above. 100Megs offer daily, weekly and on much of our network monthly backups (without any user input needed). We have true 24/7 support staff (not outsourced support like most providers). If you have any issues and you aren't getting answers please ask for Phil and I'll help you myself. We take service very seriously at 100Megswebhosting.com and never brush customers off. We post all downtime notices on our forum and we tell clients to join the forum and subscribe to the announcement thread. This will automatically email you everytime a new downtime notice is posted. However with a client base in the 10's of thousands we don't email indvidual clients as most do not want this.
